CALVIN Brooks feels his Weymouth side will be underdogs for their clash with Poole Town in the FA Trophy after the third qualifying round draw was announced.
Brooks will come up against his brother, Marvin, in the Dorset derby and he is hoping to get one over on his sibling.
Talking to Echosport, Brooks said: “I haven’t picked up too many points against him in the last few games.
“It’s always a nice occasion and all my family come to watch.
“It’s difficult going there. There will be a hostile atmosphere but, I don’t see why we can’t go there and get something.
“We will be the underdogs.”
He added: “It’s a nice distraction from the league and it can be great financially for the club.
“I know they have a few injuries and a few suspensions so it will be interesting.”
His manager Jason Matthews is also relishing the derby, describing it as the “tie of the round”.
He explained: “It’s exciting that it is a derby.
“I didn’t think we would be playing Poole competitively this season and I think it is the tie of the round.
“It will be another cup final for us. Our fans will travel in numbers and it gives us a chance to pit our wins against a National League South side.”
The game is set to be played on Saturday, November 26 at Tatnam.
