Before Saturday’s trip to Dunstable Town, Josh Barton of theterras.com caught up with Jason Matthews.

Josh Barton: Dunstable away tomorrow; any absentees?

Jason Matthews: Chris Shephard is out with a knee injury, Stuart Fleetwood (kidney stones), Jordan Copp (ankle), Dean Evans (suspended).

JB: How is the search for a new keeper going? Still on the lookout?

JM: The transfer deadline went last Thursday so no chance for this season I’ve held talks with 3 keepers for next season though.

JB: We mentioned last week that we have had 17 draws this season. What do you put that down to? Is it solely a lack of goals?

JM: We’ve not put our chances away when we’ve been on top in games which always gives other teams something to hold on to and we’ve been punished several times because of this.

JB: A few Terras fans have asked about Sam Jordan. What is the situation with him?

JM: Sams work commitments have limited what we would of liked him to do for us and that coincided with Fleets’ good form.

JB: Tiago Sa, Dom Panesar-Dower and Sean Stewart have Impressed the terras faithful since they have came into the side. As manager, what are your thoughts at what the club needs to do to promote from within?

JM: Yes they have done excellently and it shows we are doing something right with our recruitment.

JB: Despite missing out on the playoffs this season, do you think there is much we can learn from to take into next season?

JM: I’ve learnt that we need to be more mentally strong at home and adopt a ruthlessness to take our chances in front of goal when we have the ascendancy.
