Assistant Manager, Paul Maitland, gave Josh Barton of theterras.com his thoughts before the Terras take on Stratford Town on Saturday.

Josh Barton: Paul we play two games in three days over the bank holiday weekend starting with Stratford at home on Saturday. What sort of game are we expecting against them?

Paul Maitland: Stratford have had a decent start to the season. We are expecting a difficult game. We expect them to come and make it hard for ourselves. It might be a difficult afternoon and we will have to remain patient and take our chances when we get them.

JB: The goal that Mark Travers scored last Saturday has gone viral, many broadcasters and media outlets have used footage of the goal. This has been pleasing to see.

PM: Any publicity is great for us and it’s great for Mark Travers. I understand it’s going to be on Soccer AM on Saturday morning. It’s been brilliant for the club as the video has had many hits on the various social media platforms. Mark’s career will benefit from that moment; there is no doubt about that.

JB: The local derby against Dorchester comes up on bank holiday Monday. Is it very much focus on Stratford first?

PM: Absolutely. We have a way of doing things and we are fully focused on the Stratford game until around 6pm on the Saturday and then our attention will turn to Dorchester. Obviously that is a big game because it it’s the Ridgeway derby and we will be up for it but as the old cliché goes, it is just another game. Our players are all looking forward to it and we know that we will have supporters travel in big numbers, getting right behind us, which is fantastic!

JB: Team news?

PM: Those players that suffered injuries will be assessed at training. We expect to go into the weekend at near full strength.
