Weymouth FC Manager Mark Molesley and Director of Football Paul Maitland visited Chickerell Primary Academy on Monday for a Q&A with a group of Year 6 pupils. The pupils asked a wide variety of questions and they treated Mark and Paul to a showcase of their talents with some drills on the school field.

Teaching Assistant at the Academy, Rob Pask said that the children enjoyed the session. “The children at Chickerell Primary Academy had a fantastic time as Mark Molesley and Paul Maitland paid them a visit. This involved a question and answer session, in which Mark and Paul both discussed their careers in football and gave valuable advice. Following this, all children took part in some football races outside, with Mark and Paul watching and encouraging all that were there. The children were very thankful for the time given to them by Mark and Paul and wish the Terras the best for next season!”

Director of Football, Paul Maitland had the following to say on the afternoon. “It was an interesting afternoon and it was great to meet so many enthusiastic kids who came up with some well thought out questions and gave us a good working over. It is so important that we continue to build relationships in the area and we would both like to thank Chirckerell Primary Academy for inviting us along’.
