WEYMOUTH will stick to their principles but will be fine-tuning says manager Mark Molesley ahead of their FA Cup first qualifying round clash at home to Banbury United tomorrow (3pm).

In their last match, Weymouth led Farnborough 3-1 at half-time but a poor second-half performance saw them concede three goals to lose 4-3.

Molesley said: “The way we do things has served us well, we will not be changing and we will stick to our principles and morals despite what happened.

“We have got a way of doing things and we will stick to that. It is just a case of re-focusing, fine tuning and we will stick to that and getting back and doing the right thing. I back my players I know have got the right group around me, I have got the right staff around me.”

Banbury represent familiar opponents for the Terras having been in the same division last year, before the league restructuring saw them move to the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division Central.

Weymouth are unbeaten in four against Banbury, with three draws and one win.

Molesley said: “Banbury are no strangers to us. They have been a strong side in the last few seasons.

“They are undefeated this year in their league so it will be a tough game.”

Last year, Weymouth reached the third round of qualifying after victories over Odd Down (Bath) and Chippenham Town, before they fell 2-1 away at Chelmsford City.

Weymouth boast a clean bill of health.
