The weekend was another highly successful one for our Youth Teams! With excellent games from all our mini soccer and DYFL, the Youth Secretary got floods of reports from happy children and managers which is the best part about our Youth side of our Football Club!

Firstly, on Sunday, Weymouth FC Under 16’s got their season off to a great start after a 3-0 win away to Merley! Well done boys, an excellent result!

Weymouth FC Under 15’s played at home against Wimborne in the League Cup coming away with a 3-1 win! Manager Martin Underhay said, “It was a good solid display on the back of last weeks big win. To a man they worked hard again as a team to produce an excellent 3-1 win.” Goals by Tommy, Tyler & Finn.

Next up is Weymouth FC Under 14’s who had their first match of the season at Home in the form of a League Cup match. A nervous match for Manager and Chairman Paul Tapper due to several injuries. Corfe Mullen Utd Junior Colts started the goals off by leading with a unstoppable header resulting from a corner but Weymouth FC came back with a 2-1 win! Making manager and club very proud! Well done boys! Goals by Reece & Adam.

Well done to Weymouth FC Under 12 who played a friendly against Beaminster FC as they had another week free from league games. Even so, they went full steam ahead and came away with a win! Well Done boys and roll on next week when season starts officially!
