MARK Molesley says his side have proved that they are more than a match for anyone, as they prepare to host Hendon in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South tomorrow (3pm).

It is the reverse fixture of a match played just over a week ago, in which goals from Brandon Goodship, alongside brilliant long range efforts from Jake McCarthy and Jordan Ngalo saw the Terras to a 3-1 victory.

Molesley said: “Hendon are a good side, they were at the top of the table (in the early stages of the season). They have dropped off a little bit, it just shows how tough this league is.

“There is no easy game, they caused us a lot of problems down at their place so we are well aware of their threat. We will be working hard to stop them but also making sure that we get our own game in place and I am sure if we stamp our authority on the game then we have proved this season we are more than a match for anyone.”

Molesley praised his side for showing different sides to themselves over the past month, but with four wins in a row now Molesley says his side are confident.

He said: “We are looking forward to the game. We have showed different parts of our game over the last month. We have had to call on every attribute that we have got. At the moment we have got four wins on the spin, we are in a confident mood and we are looking forward to the game.

Molesley, when asked what they would take from that previous win into Hendon, emphasised the strong start that Hendon made.

He said: “Yes plenty, they started really strongly and we didn’t come out of the traps quickly and it took us a while to wrestle the game back in our favour – they pushed us all the way.”

Harry Baker is returning to training soon, while Tiago Sa is not yet back in training for Weymouth.

Josh McQuoid is hoping to start full training soon, but Molesley reiterated: “We don’t want to put any pressure on a player that has been out for that long, like I said if we see him this season it is a massive bonus for us.”
