MARK Molesley highlighted the threat of Wimborne Town’s home record ahead of Weymouth’s trip to Cuthbury tomorrow in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South (3pm).

Wimborne boast the fourth best home record in the league, having lost just four times in the league on home turf so far this season.

Molesley said: “They have got one of the most impressive home records, you only have to see the scalps that they have got at home so they are a team not to be taken lightly. It is a local derby, and a game I know they will be very much up for.

“So we are going to have our work cut out, we are going to have to be at our best there is no doubt about that.

“We are in a confident mood, we are in a good place and we are enjoying our football.

Molesley said: “Obviously we are in a confident mood, the last five games have been good for us. I feel that we are in quite a good place at the moment and we are looking forward to the game.”

Remarkably, despite their good form, Wimborne have conceded the second most goals of any team in the league, ahead of only the already relegated Staines Town.

However, Weymouth are on some fine form of their own and sit at the summit of the table once again.

It comes after a five-game winning streak that has seen Weymouth reclaim the summit and also have a game in hand over their closest league rivals to potentially extend their lead further.

When asked if it was a good test of their current run, Molesley replied: “Definitely.

“Every team presents its own challenge, we haven’t had any easy game this season and that is certainly going to be from now until the end of the season.

“So we have got to be at the top of our game, if we show the same effort and the same attitude as in recent weeks I am sure that we’ll get to the levels to give us the best chance of trying to win.”

On the injury front, Molesley says there are no changes from Saturday ahead of Wimborne.
