MARK Molesley is aware of the challenge as he leads his Weymouth side to fellow in-form team Hartley Wintney in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South on Saturday (3pm).

Weymouth are top of the form table going back over five matches, while Hartley Wintney are third, with Dorchester Town in second.

However, the Row lost their previous match, a 2-1 loss at Kings Langley, which saw Lango push Poole out of the play-offs.

Molesley said: “I think they showed what a good side they were at our place, I don’t think we were quite at our best that day and we nearly got undone.

“We had to rely on a last minute equaliser from Warren Bentley, and it just shows what a difficult team they are, they are a good side.

“(It’s) a really tough place to go Hartley Wintney, I think they have got a good home record so another tough challenge.

“They come thick and fast.”

The last time the two sides met it saw a thrilling end, with the Terras 2-0 down after 77 minutes, before goals from Stephane Zubar and Warren Bentley saw them secure a 2-2 draw.

Molesley says his side are in a confident mood, before adding that they can only stay that way if they keep working hard.

Molesley said: “We are in a confident mood but we can only stay like that if we keep working hard. Every game is difficult, every game produces a different challenge and this is on paper one of the more difficult places to go and get some points so it is another great challenge and one we are looking forward to.”

The Row currently occupy ninth in a bunched up mid-table in which they are currently equidistant between fifth and 20th, with 10 points the gap either way.

When it was put to him that the Row sit in the bunched up part of the table, Molesley replied: “It is a tough challenge but the boys have proved lately that any challenge thrown at them they will acquit themselves well, regardless of the surface, the environment or who we are playing.

“The boys are rising to every challenge that we are setting at the moment and if they continue to show that good attitude and work ethic, then it will stand us in good stead.”

The Terras have strengthened their squad with the addition of Bournemouth centre-back Brennan Camp after his recall from Dorchester.

Callum Buckley and Tiago Sa have not joined in training so the Hartley game will come too soon for them, although the club hope that the former will start training some time next week.
